Peabody's promotion

Taproot is playing at the Cove this weekend so Stacey and I are going to make up demos and fliers to hand out. Hopefully we can get some people to the Peabody's show in March. I'm looking into the possibility of the fliers giving a discount off admission at the door, we'll see if they're cool with that. They had fliers that gave free admission last time so I hope we can at least get a buck or two off. They'll need as much promotion as they can get with a Tuesday show.

Just thought I would post this as a progress report!

We've got the songs all picked out and know which flier we're using, but we're currently waiting on a time and ticket price to be posted.

Also, I'd like to put a little promo thing in the envelope with the cd that links people to this site and Bobaflex (official site, fb, etc) that way they can stay current with tour dates and whatnot.

Good call.. a business card type thing maybe?

I was thinking of having some of that on the flier, but if we do that they might throw the flier out and not have that info.

Successfully handed out 50 promo CDs, so hopefully people will actually listen to them and come out to some shows.
