Introduce Yourselves!

Well, I, along with my moderators, keep a very close eye on tour dates as they emerge. I will post the dates on my forum calendar as they're announced. So keep an eye on it!

My name is Terry Roush. I went to High School with all the members and graduated with Marty. I watched them first in school than was re-introduced in 2008. My wife says I am obsessed with them. I just really enjoy the music and the guys are awesome. I have seen them about 10 times in the past 2 years and will watch them whenever I am close by. Currently living in Pinehurst, NC (Fort Bragg), and am trying to get them to come visit.

Welcome aboard, Terry. I hope you visit frequently. It's good to get new members. I have a good feeling the band will be doing a lot of touring real soon. I hope they make a visit down near you. Fortunately for most of us here, they love to hang around Ohio! I won't brag, in fact, I can't, you've seen 'em way more than me. But it is nice to be in their "Bobazone", if you will...lol

Hi my name is Stephanie my favorite food is icecream.. I was introduced to bobaflex a couple years ago when a friend took me to a show in huntington when tequila rocks was still open... I have no idea how many show I've been to since at least 15 to 20... I can't wait for the new CD hoping they have it for sell at fridays show!!

my first bobaflex experience came a week ago while going to see my friends royal bliss who are on tour with bobaflex.
hometown show, got to spend a little time with the boys and still haven't taken the cd out of my car.

Hi Cory! Always thrilled to meet fans of the mighty 'Flex.

That cd will be in your car for a very long time. The only way I see it coming out of the cd player is if you're swapping it out for a different Bobaflex album, haha.

Also, are you suffering from show withdrawal yet?

Haven't seen 'em since December...our addiction to their live shows is rather sad, I know..lol. Anyhow, have a favorite song of theirs yet? ...Hope you stop by from time to time. Tell your friends! thanks for the welcome, they should be back in ohio soon in iowa now, i just added 3 other albums to my car so now i just rotate, right now slave is my fav, but changes on mood. hope they make it back to utah maybe summer time. try to hold off withdrawals till then...lol

Yeah...gotta be careful, one day you'll just want to see their show...out of the blue. Maybe that's just us, but they're an incredible band. Always glad to see their show again and again! I always find it hard to believe they're not bigger than they are

Hey everybody, my name is Kelly (aka mydelilah, Delilah is my dog). I'm from a small hick town in WV, which is about an hour from Parkersburg, WV. I was first introduced to Bobaflex by my ex a little over a year ago, and was hooked. Up until recently I've only listened to their albums, but I saw them live for the first time 2 days ago, and I'm already going through withdrawls. I like to go to a lot of shows, and I've decided that I really want to help Bobaflex get bigger. I was at ROTR last year and I plan on going again this year so let me know what I can do to promote them while I am there. Oh and my favorite food is mac and cheese \m/

Welcome, Kelly! It's awesome to see that there's someone new who shows great interest in promoting these guys! With our help, these guys can headline ROTR. I have no doubt about that! If you want to print out fliers to hand out at ROTR, I'll design one for you. I have access to some amazing photos from professional photographers and complete access to the pictures on www.theofficialbobaflex.com, not to mention, I'm getting decent at making fliers. Whatever you think you might need, let me know and we'll all do whatever we can for ya! Thanks for wanting to help so much!

Well as soon as I am 100% sure I'm going I will let you know. I would definately be willing to hand out posters if I do though. I was also thinking sample CDs would be awesome, but I would need some help with that too. At least some advice on how to go about it anyway. Glad to become a part of all this

I debated and debated with my own mind for months, literally, about how we should do the cd samplers. I try to run everything by the band(as not to rip them off)...finally decided to make one without telling the guys. They've always been supportive of our street team and our advertisement methods.. I have a pretty good track list that made a nice street sampler. I believe it well represents Bobaflex, both past and present. If you want the track list or just to have me make one and send it to you, just let me know. Anything to get the word out!

CDs are definitely a good plan - people are much less likely to look the stuff up themselves based on a flier. The ones that Stacey and I passed out had seven songs. I made labels from return address labels printed off MS Word with the track listing to save on money (from using actual CD labels), as well as time (writing on every CD by hand). To provide more info on the band I usually stuff the CD envelope with a small flier with the important websites on it.
